Stop the Sweeps Rally at Vancouver City Hall.
Members of the 'Stop the Sweeps' Coalition gathered outside city hall in June of 2022 calling for changes to the city's practice of daily street sweeps to clean sidewalks in the Downtown Eastside. The protest escalated and the group broke through the front entrance, briefly occupying the building's lobby.
